I have one of those lovely “Book-a-month” diaries from Moleskine. Unfortunately I have stopped writing in it. Instead I try & remember what I have been up to & then write a lot of words about it. Usually my life is dull but sometimes I manage to do exciting things, or maybe just think of exciting things. At the moment I am thinking about running away to the circus, or at least going camping in a friends garden.

Live in a nice town in a nice county.  Can spend a whole day wandering around charity shops, stopping every now and then for tea & cake. Like travelling by planes, trains & automobiles,  make-up counters in big department stores & swimming in rivers. And books. And pink alcoholic drinks. And reading books and drinking pink alcoholic drinks at the same time. And fireworks. And those summer evenings that go on forever…..
