Archive for March, 2010

OK, I have managed to plough my way through a few books in the last few days. Usually I eat my way through a pile of books a week, but for the last month or so I have been struggling to read everyday. It has even got to the stage that I am reading the [...]

I have mentioned elsewhere my desire to go back to France. And its not JUST for the stationery. When I am in France I feel strangely content, like I am home, albeit in a home where I don’t understand what people are saying. I have just scrawled a list of all my times in France, [...]

Trolley, Off

I need to try & blog about my friends & family’s reaction to the fact that I went all the way down to London to attend the second #stationeryclub meeting. I told my friends what I was up to, & I vaguely mentioned it to the parents, knowing that my friends would fill them in. [...]

Discussed babies being Churched & therefore being allowed in Short Clothes. Have a late night. Have an early morning (hello 3am & 5am). Get back to sleep. [...]

Last night I went to see Andy Serkis pretending to be Ian Dury. I spent most of January fancying AS after a lovely photo in The Guardian Weekend magazine. After the film, which was v good, we went to the pub.  I was sat drinking beer with acquaintances of my friend, so I swiftly stole [...]

My family & I share many things. My cousins & I all love cakes, the Mitford sisters, and musicals. We have also swapped some traits between us & our parents. Cousin A has been the unfortunate recipient of my fathers acne genes, and I have my Aunt’s dodgy knees & ankles. Cousin H has a [...]
